Mr. Mark Breading
Mark is a Partner at Strategy Meets Action, a strategic advisory firm offering a unique blend of advisory, research, and project-based consulting services to both insurance companies and solution providers. Mark is well known for his perspectives on innovative uses of technology in insurance and the future of the insurance industry. Mark leads the research program at SMA, and has exceptional knowledge and experience in all aspects of advanced technologies and solutions that provide value across the insurance enterprise – including data and analytics, customer communications, enterprise content management, and mobile technologies.
Mark has held both technical and business roles in sales, consulting, marketing and business strategy, and has advised insurers around the world for almost 30 years. His roles have included IBM’s Global Insurance Strategist, Global Insurance Marketing Leader and Director of Global Insurance Executive Conferences.
Mark is often quoted in major insurance publications and speaks frequently at leading industry conferences. He holds a BSBA in Accounting from Bucknell University and is a graduate of IBM's Systems Research Institute with a major in Software Systems. He also holds an MBA in International Business from Liberty University.

ITA Mission Statement
The goal of the Insurance Technology Association is to provide members with opportunities to collaborate, educate, network, share, and use knowledge related to insurance technology. The ITA serves the insurance technology community as a resource and is dedicated to serving this specialized sector of the industry. Publications and educational programs created by the ITA are geared to professionals interested in or charged with evaluating, implementing, and marketing insurance-specific technology systems or services.
The next issue of ITA Pro magazine will be published in February, 2017. The cover story will focus on policy administration systems and the importance of data to make the policy engines hum. We will also look at the more recent phenomenon of core systems in the cloud. In addition, there will be a feature aerticle on the importance of insurers keeping their promise to policyholders when it comes to claims. The issue also will include regular features,such as columns from George Grieve, the partners at Strategy Meets Action, and Russ Bostick of MVP Advisory Group. Launchpad, the newest department in the magazine and written by Jennifer Overhulse, covers the insurtech world.
