Michael Anselmo

Michael Anselmo is the Chief Information Officer for the NSM Insurance Group leading the technology services organization. Michael has more than 30 years of insurance industry experience in developing innovative solutions and technology teams that help businesses drive top-line growth and manage bottom-line expenses. Prior to joining NSM Insurance, Michael was Chief Customer Officer for Patriot Technology Solutions and Chief Delivery Officer for Return on Intelligence, both insurance professional consulting services firms. He was also Chief Information Officer for Narragansett Bay Insurance, Clarendon Insurance Group, Praetorian Financial Group, QBE and Chief Technology Officer for Primex Trading, a software company, where he developed the world's first open-cry auction system for the NASDAQ. He worked with KPMG/BearingPoint, American International Underwriters (AIG), and Munich/American Re-Insurance. Michael has successfully started 6 companies (4 insurance related), has excellent operations skills in mergers, acquisitions and transition leadership.

Michael holds a degree from the City University of New York. He has been involved with Junior Achievement since 1988 and now serves on the Southeastern PA executive board. He also serves on the advisory board of The CIO Initiative, Insurance Technology Association and other technical entities.

The goal of the Insurance Technology Association is to provide members with opportunities to collaborate, educate, network, share, and use knowledge related to insurance technology. The ITA serves the insurance technology community as a resource and is dedicated to serving this specialized sector of the industry. Publications and educational programs created by the ITA are geared to professionals interested in or charged with evaluating, implementing, and marketing insurance-specific technology systems or services.
